DOUGLAS PRICE | Social Media Guru
Douglas Price is a tenth-year educator serving at Voyager Academy as a 6th grade teacher, where he has helped to develop an innovative curriculum entitled Core Connections, a cross-disciplinary PBL classroom. He holds a B.S. in Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Masters of Education from North Carolina State University. He is currently a Hope Street Group fellow for North Carolina, and has participated in several other key fellowships throughout the state, including: Kenan Fellows, the Education Policy Fellowship Program through the NC Public Forum, and the NC Collaborative through Duke Research Clinical Institute. @dc_price

EMMY COLEMAN | Logistics Connoisseur
​Emmy is a Senior Research Scholar and Digital Learning Coach with the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation. With 23+ years of experience as an educator, Emmy is dedicated in supporting leaders and educators in building successful and innovative digital learning programs. She was previously a high school teacher, district administrator and founding principal of Warren New Tech High School in Warren County, NC. Emmy is currently lead of all district and school-based professional development supports across North Carolina. GREG GARDNER | Sphero Authority 
Greg Garner's background includes four years as a middle school classroom educator as well as three years as an instructional coach in Austin, TX and Chapel Hill, NC. Greg served as the user experience team lead for the North Carolina Digital Learning Plan district resource toolkit as well as co-leading the North Carolina Digital Leaders Coaching Network, now entering its third year. He is recently engaged in professional development projects with Code.org and numerous in-district trainings. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from LeTourneau University and a Master of Educational Technology Leadership from Lamar University. greg_garner@ncsu.edu | @classroom_tech

JACLYN STEVENS | Registration and Media Orchestrator 
Jaclyn is a Research Associate and Digital Learning Coach with the Friday Institute for Educational Innovation.  She is a unique combination of media designer and educator - beginning her career in education after her successful work as a media consultant and award winning designer. In her work, she supports educators & leaders in adaptive student-centered approaches to provide concrete, quality, purposeful, reflective and on-the-ground personalized learning supported through technology to work towards equity for all learners. Her mantra is to adapt, not adopt - fostering digital initiatives to transform professional learning through changes in pedagogical shifts and meeting the needs of all learners to champion creativity and innovation.  jlbell@ncsu.edu | @jaclynbstevens

TAVIA CLARK | Game Master
Tavia Clark is a Research Associate at The Friday Institute for Educational Innovation. Her work at FI primarily focuses on providing innovative professional learning experiences and coaching for K-12 educators. She was previously a school librarian for eight years and a high school English teacher for five years. Through her work, Tavia hopes to teach, inspire and empower educators and help them to design innovative learning experiences for their students. She holds a B.A. in English/Secondary Education from UNC-Wilmington and a Master’s of Library Science from East Carolina University.
